Miracles of Prophet Muhammad
Imam Baihaqi has stated on the authority
of Hadhrat Ali (ra) who stated: "Once, I was present with the Prophet (peace be upon him). At that time, I had fallen so much
sick that I prayed to Allah Almighty to grant me death if I am destined to die so that I may get relief from the sickness,
otherwise, I may be restored to normal health from the sickness if I have to live for sometime. I, also, prayed for being
granted patience if this sickness is a test for me from Allah Almighty." Hearing that, the Prophet beat Ali with his foot
and observed: "Oh Ali! repeat what you were saying." Ali (ra) repeated his prayer. Then the Prophet prayed to Allah Almighty:
"O Allah! Heal him from the sickness." Ali (ra) stated that he became healthy the same day and the pain never appeared again.

Imran bin Husain
(RA) narrates that the companions of the Prophet (SAW) submitted to him their grievence about thirst during a journey. The
Prophet (SAW) got down from his conveyance and ordered Ali (RA) and another person to go and serch for water. "So, they went
accordingly. They met a woman possessing two small water-skins contaning water. They brought her to the Prophet (SAW). The
Prophet (SAW) caused a pot to be brought and poured in it the water of both the water-skins and asked the companions to drink
from it. Imran (RA) stated: "We, the forty thirsty men drank water from it very well and we filled all our pots and water-skins
with water. I swear by Allah Almighty that the water-skins (of the woman) seemed to be full with water than before."
Bukhari and Muslim.
A man came to the Prophet on a Friday while he (the Prophet) was delivering a sermon at Medina, and said, "There is lack of rain, so please invoke your Lord to bless us with
the rain." The Prophet looked at the sky when no cloud could be detected. Then he invoked Allah for rain. Clouds started gathering
together and it rained till the Medina valleys started flowing with water. It continued raining till the next Friday.
Then that man (or some other man) stood up while the Prophet was delivering the Friday sermon, and said, "We are drowned;
Please invoke your Lord to withhold it (rain) from us" The Prophet smiled and said twice or thrice, "O Allah! Please let it
rain round about us and not upon us." The clouds started dispersing over Medina to the
right and to the left, and it rained round about Medina and not upon Medina. Allah showed them (the
people) the miracle of His Prophet and His response to his invocation.

It has been written
that a wolf spoke to one of the companions of the Prophet near Medina as narrated in Fath-al-Bari:
Narrated Unais bin 'Amr: Ahban bin Aus said, "I was amongst my sheep. Suddenly a wolf caught a sheep and I shouted at it.
The wolf sat on its tail and addressed me, saying, 'Who will look after it (i.e. the sheep) when you will be busy and not
able to look after it? Do you forbid me the provision which Allah has provided me?' " Ahban added, "I clapped my hands and
said, 'By Allah, I have never seen anything more curious and wonderful than this!' On that the wolf said, 'There is something
(more curious) and wonderful than this; that is, Allah's Apostle in those palm trees, inviting people to Allah (i.e. Islam).'
"Unais bin 'Amr further said, "Then Ahban went to Allah's Apostle and informed him what happened and embraced Islam.)"
A beautiful tradition
reported by Al Hasan Al Basri on the authority of Anas Ibn Malek is the following. He said: The Messenger of Allah peace be
upon him used to give the Friday sermon while standing near a piece of wood against which he would lean his back. When the
number of people increased in the mosque he said: Make a pulpit of two steps for me, which they did. When the Prophet stood
up to give the sermon on Friday the said piece of wood moaned as if it expressed its sad feeling of missing the Messenger
of Allah peace be upon him. Anas comments: I was in the mosque and heard the piece moan. It continued to moan until the Prophet
descended to it and embraced it. Then it was silent. As a matter of fact, whenever Al Hasan narrated this tradition he would
cry and say: O slaves of Allah! A piece of wood misses the Messenger of Allah! It is you who should do so.

Whenever the Prophet
sat to take his food, the Food glorified Allah; and this was heard by his Companions. Sahih Al-Bukhari quotes Abdullah ibn
Mas’ud as having said: Whenever we took food with the Prophet, we heard glorification of Allah by what we were eating.
used to greet the Prophet. Sahih Muslim quotes Jaber ibn Samrah as having said: The prophet told us that he could detect a
rock in Makkah, which used to greet him, before he was raised as a prophet. Ali. May Allah be pleased with him, as reported
by Al-Tirmidhi and others, said: I was strolling with the Prophet once on the outskirts of Makkah, I noticed that not a tree
or a rock he passed did let him pass without murmuring: Peace be upon you, O Messenger of Allah.
